Grass and flowers

Here are two Gelli plate  prints that I was working on yesterday.With the hot weather instead of just mowing the grass I picked some long stalks to print from.using the Gel plate is fairly easy a good on line source for instructions on the methods is Linda Germain .She gives really good advice.

Bird print

My second Etching,  made this week .The method is not the traditional one of etching onto a copper sheet using acid.But,scratching the image into a thin sheet of plastic.

These are two pinch pot bowls that I have made.I am learning how to try to get the shapes that i want.The process is quite quick .I thought that I would try painting on dots for the first bowl ;as I like the work of Yayoi Kusama,here is a link if you are interested in looking at her work which was at the Tate gallery
