I had a busy time making New work and taking part in a couple of Art fairs also I still have work in exhibitions at the Made in Greenwich Gallery and Cubitt Town library which is my local.

With the pace of things slowing down over the Christmas break I have been able to think about what things I would like to work on next. The application of wax to some ceramic pieces that I made has improved the feel of them and I'm now happier with the results.They had felt rough to the touch where the glaze hadn't covered.
The Japanese ideas of impermanence and imperfection (Wabi-Sabi ) have influenced me and resulted in making some pinch pots .
Having some time been has allowed me to do more research and think about the development of ideas

What I like; apart from the work itself .Is that she uses lots of different media and experiments over the course of her career. Often when you are studying art it is suggested that you concentrate on one particular medium and to move between different disciplines suggests that there is inconsistency and that the only way to develop a 'visual language' is to chose one thing and stick to it.I suppose that it makes it easier in many ways .
